Job summary

Vancouver Coastal Health is hiring a Physician for a new Urgent and Primary Care Clinic (UPCC) opening in 2027 in Vancouver. Family or Emergency Physicians will join a team-based care model serving non-life-threatening conditions, with access to on-site X-ray, ECG, slit lamp, and point-of-care ultrasound.

The role requires flexibility for day, evening, weekend and holiday shifts, and experience with minor procedures is preferred.

Qualifications

• CPSBC Full Licence required.
• CMPA membership mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Provide urgent and primary care at a new UPCC for non-life-threatening conditions.

This role suits Family or Emergency Physicians interested in team-based care for patients with non-life-threatening conditions.

The clinic runs 365 days/year and is equipped with X-ray, ECG, slit lamp, and point-of-care ultrasound. Experience with minor

procedures is preferred. Flexibility for day, evening, weekend, and holiday shifts is required

Qualifications

Education, Licensing, & Experience:

• Current College of Physicians of BC (CPSBC) – Full
• Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA) - Mandatory
