Job summary

An established industry player is looking for a dedicated Physical Therapy Technician to join their team. In this role, you will work under the supervision of a Physical Therapist, assisting in patient treatments and ensuring the physical therapy department is maintained in a clean and orderly manner. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED and preferably some experience in a physical therapy clinic. Qualifications

Responsibilities

Under the direct supervision of a Physical Therapist, the Physical Therapy Technician will be utilized in supervised patient treatments and in maintaining the PT department in a clean and orderly manner.

Qualifications

MINIMUM EDUCATION

High school diploma or GED; relevant experience in lieu of High School Diploma/GED education will be considered. Graduation from a technical program preferred.

MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE

Previous experience in a Physical Therapy clinic preferred.

REQUIRED LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS

Basic Life Support certification required through the American Heart Association or other pre-approved accredited certification program.

REQUIRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND ABILITIES

Knowledge of regulations, QA and procedures, and quality patient care. Successful completion of department-specific and/or hospital-required training courses. Must be able to treat patients of all ages from pediatric to geriatric.
