Job summary

destinationone Consulting | Direct Placement seeks a Physical Therapy Assistant to support licensed physical therapists in rehabilitation programs in Downtown Toronto and across Ontario.

The PTA will assist in implementing treatment plans, guide patients through exercises, monitor progress, educate on self-care, and help maintain equipment in a safe clinic environment.

Location is Downtown Toronto with various Ontario sites; emphasis on teamwork and patient-centred care in a clinical setting.

Qualifications

• Associate degree from an accredited PTA program.
• State licensure or certification as a physical therapy assistant.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a healthcare team.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing treatment plans developed by physical therapists.
