The Opportunity
  • Position Status: Regular Full Time
  • Location: Dr. Vernon Fanning Centre, Physiotherapy Complex LTC BW
  • Hours: 77.50 FTE: 1.00
  • Shift: Days
  • Shift Times: 0745-1600
  • Union: HSAA
  • Rate of Pay: $38.90 - $51.80
  • PCN: 263EPT003
  • Date Competition Closes: May 01, 2025
Position Summary

This role involves client care through assessment, treatment, and discharge planning on rehabilitation and recovery units, enhancing residents' quality of life by assessing and implementing interventions to maximize safe, functional independence. It may include supervising support staff and students.

Program Summary

Chronic Medical Care for adults with complex diseases or life-threatening illnesses, including those on dialysis or requiring respiratory support.

Qualifications & Experience
  • Graduation from a recognized Masters or Degree program in Physical Therapy
  • Registration with the College of Physical Therapists of Alberta is required; AADL authorizer is an asset
  • Experience in clinical or continuing care physiotherapy is an asset

New grads and physiotherapist interns are welcome.
