Job summary

The Clover School Group INC. A division of GlobeEducate is seeking a dynamic Physical Education Teacher to inspire students to develop lifelong healthy habits through engaging curricula and inclusive activities.

In-person role with 5–8 hours per week and pay of $24.00–$30.00 per hour. You will design activities for ages 18 months to 12 years, supervise safety, and share progress in twice-yearly parent reports.

Qualifications

  • Prior classroom experience teaching physical education or related subjects in a school setting.
  • Experience working with children across different age groups, especially in early childhood education environments
  • Strong communication skills to motivate students and collaborate with staff and parents effectively
  • Knowledge of special education strategies to adapt activities for diverse learners
  • Background in teaching subjects like math or other core academic areas integrated into physical education activities is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement comprehensive physical education curricula tailored to various age groups and skill levels.
  • Lead engaging sports, fitness activities, and movement exercises that encourage participation and teamwork.
  • Assess students’ physical abilities and progress regularly, providing constructive feedback to support their development.
  • Incorporate inclusive strategies to support students with special education needs or disabilities.
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues about student progress, upcoming activities, and safety protocols.
  • Maintain a safe environment by supervising activities closely and ensuring proper use of equipment.
  • Provide updates on progress in twice yearly reports to parents.
