Qualifications

• Experience delivering Ontario secondary school curriculum.

Responsibilities

• Teach Ontario Secondary School curriculum across specified programs.
• Maintain small class sizes with ~10 students for higher engagement.
• Deliver instruction across various programs (part-time; private; night school; summer school; online).
• Collaborate with colleagues and leadership to support student achievement.

Blyth Academy is seeking a committed and engaging Intermediate-Senior Physical Education & Social Sciences teacher to teach the Ontario Secondary School curriculum at one of our campuses. Experience teaching elementary and intermediate levels is an asset. While the majority of our teachers have OCT certification, we welcome qualified educators from all sectors and professional backgrounds to apply.

About the Role

• Small classrooms with an average of 10 students: enhanced student engagement & interactions; less administrative work (i.e. report cards, marking)
• Academic calendar: 4 terms from September - June; 3 periods per day

Compensation Range: $50,000-$60,000 CAD per year
