The Phased Array Technician will be responsible for performing advanced non-destructive testing (NDT) using Phased Array Ultrasonic Testing (PAUT) methods to detect and evaluate discontinuities in materials and welds. The successful candidates will contribute to ensuring the structural integrity and safety of critical infrastructure for our upcoming inspection project.
Due to the nature of this position there will be on-call and overtime requirements as well as some travel.
We are currently hiring for an exciting short-term project running from September 9 to 28, 2025, and are looking to fill 15 positions with qualified and motivated individuals.
2 positions - Phased Array Ultrasonic Testing
Valid H2S Alive
Fall Protection
Confined Space Entry
D&A Testing
Day and Night shifts available
Initial shifts will be 10 hours, transitioning to 12-hour shifts
Flexibility and reliability are essential due to shift rotations and extended hours
Preference will be given to local candidates in the Edmonton area
We are also open to candidates from across Alberta and Western Canada
Conduct Phased Array Ultrasonic Testing (PAUT) inspections in accordance with industry standards and client specifications.
Accurately interpret data and document findings in detailed inspection reports.
Collaborate with other technicians and site personnel to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
Maintain professional conduct and represent the company with integrity on-site.
Proficient in operating and interpreting results from PAUT equipment.
Strong knowledge of applicable codes and standards (e.g., ASME, CGSB, or equivalent).
Able to work independently and as part of a team.
Valid CGSB certification in Phased Array Ultrasonic Testing (PAUT)
3-5 years’ experience in NDT inspection
