Functions include sterile and non-sterile preparations, unit dose pre-packaging and drug distribution, narcotic issue, purchasing and receiving supplies, dispensing first dose unit doses, bin filling unit doses, refilling of automated dispensing cabinets, and extemporaneous preparations.
