Key Responsibilities:

Registered Pharmacy Technicians (RPTs) will have authority and responsibility to:

  • Receive and transcribe verbal prescriptions from practitioners
  • Verify prescriptions for completeness and authenticity
  • Administer injections/vaccinations as permitted by regulations in certain jurisdictions
  • Transfer prescriptions between pharmacies
  • Ensure accuracy of prescriptions
  • Conduct final checks of prescriptions
  • Verify drug and health information in patient records
Qualifications:
  • Completion of Pharmacy Technician Certification
  • Strong attention to detail, ability to multitask, and work independently in a fast-paced environment
