Pharmasave Maina Centre Ville in Beaumont, AB is seeking a Full-Time Pharmacy Technician dedicated to delivering excellent patient care. Our mission is patient-centered, inclusive, and professional pharmacy services focused on the health and wellness of our community.

Hours are 9:30am-6:30pm Mon-Fri and 11:00am-4:00pm Saturday; closed Sunday. The role includes data entry in Kroll, dispensing support, insurance claims, and ensuring a clean, organized, patient-friendly pharmacy environment.

Qualifications

• Proof of current pharmacy technician licensure in good standing from the provincial College.
• 1–2 years of experience in a pharmacy dispensary.
• Strong commitment to patient care and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients, receive prescriptions and enter information into the Kroll system.
• Process POS transactions and stock prescriptions and OTC products.
• Counts, labels and packages prescriptions and prepares third-party claims.
• Maintain clean, organized pharmacy and provide friendly patient interactions.

Job description

Pharmasave Maina Centre Ville in Beaumont is currently seeking a Full-Time Pharmacy Technician who is dedicated to delivering excellent patient care.

Hours of operation are 9:30am-6:30pm Monday through Friday, 11:00am-4:00pm Saturday, and closed Sunday.

• 1–2 years of experience in a pharmacy dispensary
• Experience with the Kroll pharmacy system is required
• Accurate and efficient data entries abilities
• Assists patients, receives written prescriptions, obtains medical history
• Processes POS/register transactions
• Provides friendly, prompt and courteous patient interactions
• First point of phone/contact for patients
• Updating patient profile and entering prescription information into the pharmacy (Kroll)
• Counts, labels and packages prescriptions, through workflow and bin management
• Prepares third-party insurance claims
• Orders, receives, stocks prescription drugs, supplies and over-the counter products
• Ensures pharmacy is clean / organized at all times
• Other duties as required
• Proof of current pharmacy technician licensure in good standing from the applicable provincial College
