Job summary

Covenant Health is seeking a Pharmacy Technician I to support the Pharmacy Department in preparation, checking, distribution and procurement of pharmaceuticals. The role operates under the HSAA collective agreement and involves a part-time 0.80 FTE at Misericordia Community Hospital.

Temporary position with shift patterns across Days, Evenings and Weekends; pay ranges from $34.01 to $42.59 per hour. Security screening is required before commencement and incumbents must be registered with the ACP.

The Pharmacy Technician I provides technical and operational assistance to the Pharmacy Department in the preparation, checking, distribution and procurement of pharmaceuticals. The Pharmacy Technician I is responsible for the provision of services in accordance with established standards, and the Mission, Vision, Values, policies and procedures of Covenant Health. This position is covered by the terms and conditions of the HSAA Paramedical Professional/Technical Collective Agreement.
