We are seeking a motivated pharmacy technician to join our team for a one year term to cover a leave with the possibility of the position turning into a permanent position. Applicants should have a strong interest in community health care, gender affirming care and sexual health services!

Responsibilities

• Provide Enhanced Clinical Services: Collaborate with patients to offer specialized care related to sexual health (testing and treatment), gender-affirming care (including provincial injections), opioid-use disorders and mental health under the supervision of a pharmacist.
• Community Engagement: Advocate for improved health care services, especially for marginalized communities, and actively engage with patients to build lasting relationships.
• Licensed pharmacy technician in Nova Scotia.
• Strong commitment to patient care and advocacy for marginalized communities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and collaborate with other healthcare professionals.
