You will greet customers, collect information, refer clinical questions to the pharmacist, and help with third-party adjudication while maintaining confidentiality.

This role emphasizes accuracy, attention to detail, and teamwork in a fast-paced retail pharmacy environment.

Competenze

• Registered with the corresponding provincial licensing college.
• Diploma from a Pharmacy Technician College.
• Previous Pharmacy Experience preferred.
• Effective organizational skills, ability to multitask.

• Strong attention to detail.

Mansioni

• Greet customers and gather prescription information; assist pharmacist as needed.
• Assist with dispensing prescriptions accurately and according to standards.
• Refer clinical inquiries to the pharmacist.
• Adjudicate third party billing when required.
• Data entry for new prescriptions and manage refill requests.
• Prepare, label and package medications per pharmacy standards.
• Answer telephone calls and route to a pharmacist when necessary.
