Responsibilities
  1. Supervise compounding activities performed by unregulated team members (50%)
  2. Perform sterile and non-sterile compounding (40%)
  3. Handle administrative work and report to pharmacist in charge and facility manager (10%)
Candidate Attributes and Experience
  • Current Registration with the Alberta College of Pharmacy (MUST)
  • Training and Experience with non-sterile/sterile compounding (PREFERENCE)
  • Must be able to work some weekends
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills
  • Able to work under stress and in a fast-paced environment
  • Exceptional technical skills and attention to detail
  • At least 6 months to 1 year of recent pharmacy experience (PREFERENCE)
  • Ability to provide pharmacy-related reference letters upon request
  • Ability to provide recent good standing criminal record
  • Availability for full-time or part-time employment
  • Any scheduling limitations (specific days/times unavailable)
  • Current residence in Edmonton or surrounding region
  • Describe your recent pharmacy compounding experience, including sterile compounding
Job Details

  • Wages: Above average based on experience
  • Expected hours: Up to 36 per week

  • Licence/Certification: Pharmacy Tech Registration from ACP (required)
