Job summary

Shoppers Drug Mart in Saguenay–Lac-Saint-Jean is seeking a part-time Pharmacy Assistant to support dispensing prescriptions and delivery of pharmacy services. You will assist customers, handle prescription data, and participate in maintenance and operations of the Pharmacy under the Pharmacy Standards of Practice.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Pharmacy Assistant diploma preferred.
• Experience in pharmacy settings is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and gather prescription information according to Standards.
• Assist pharmacist with prescription processing and counseling when appropriate.
• Adjudicate third party billing and manage pharmacy records.
• Data entry for new prescriptions and refill requests; maintain data in systems.
• Assist with prescription preparation and labeling according to standards.
