Base pay range: CA$30.00 / hr - CA$35.00 / hr

We seek a full-time Pharmacy Technician in Burnaby.

Pay rate: Minimum CA$25/hr, higher based on experience and BC College of Pharmacists regulation.

Schedule:

  • 37.5 hours/week, Monday to Friday, 8 am – 4 pm (shifts 7 am-3 pm or 8 am-4 pm)
  • Closed on weekends and statutory holidays
  • On-call rotational work on statutory holidays
  • Flexibility for schedule changes, including evenings and weekends

Job Responsibilities:

  • Maintain inventory for compounding needs
  • Prepare, process, dispense, and compound intravenous medications
  • Verify components against orders
  • Program infusion pumps, perform validation and microbiological checks
  • Assist in cleaning and maintaining the facility
  • Participate in inventory counts

Qualifications:

  • At least 1 year in a pharmacy setting
  • IV or hospital outpatient experience preferred
  • Knowledge of aseptic technique advantageous
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
