Job description

Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital is actively seeking applicants for a Pharmacy Technician position. The Pharmacy Technician will assist the Pharmacist by performing tasks of a technical nature. The Pharmacy Technician will be responsible for the technical aspects of dispensing medications at Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital.

Qualifications Required

• Graduate of Pharmacy Technician Program in Ontario or equivalent education program, recognized by the Ontario College of Pharmacists.
• Registered as a Pharmacy Technician and in good standing with the Ontario College of Pharmacists.
• Previous hospital experience preferred.
• Available for all shifts as required
• Valid Ontario driver's license
• Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills and customer service experience
• Strong organizational skills and ability to work in fast paced environment.
• Demonstrated ability to attend work on a regular basis and be available to work all shifts.
• Demonstrated commitment to Privacy and Confidentiality
• Is knowledgeable of the roles of other team members and recognizes their contributions
• Excellent work ethic and positive attitude that demonstrates TDMH's values
  
  

Other Pertinent Conditions

• Must be available to work all shifts as required.
• Salary As per the UNIFOR Collective Agreement ($33.24 per hour to $33.72 per hour)
