Job summary

The Saskatchewan Health Authority in North Battleford is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to join the Drug Procurement and Distribution team. You will be responsible for the acquisition, preparation, checking and distribution of medications and supplies to nursing units and community health services.

This full-time permanent role offers a pay band of 33,440 to 35,830 CAD annually, union CUPE, and a 28 shifts of 8 hours per 6 weeks schedule.

Qualifications

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required.
  • Proficiency with computer systems and pharmacy software is preferred.
  • Ability to organize workload and manage priorities to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for acquisition, preparation, checking and distribution of medications and supplies to Nursing Units, facilities and community health services.
  • Support CUPE team and maintain compliance with Saskatchewan College of Pharmacy Professionals requirements.
