Job summary

Alberta Health Services is hiring a Pharmacy Technician I to manage the preparation and distribution of pharmaceutical products at Chinook Regional Hospital. Successful candidates will be responsible for triaging medication orders and compounding medications. This role requires completion of a Pharmacy Technician Training Program and registration eligibility with the Alberta College of Pharmacy.

Qualifications

  • Completion of a CCAPP-accredited Pharmacy Technician Training Program.
  • Active or eligible for registration with the Alberta College of Pharmacy as a Pharmacy Technician.

Responsibilities

  • Receive and triage medication orders.
  • Compound and repackage medication.
  • Prepare sterile and non-sterile pharmaceutical products.

As a Pharmacy Technician I, you will be responsible for the preparation and distribution of pharmaceutical products. You will receive and triage medication orders, compound and repackage medication and prepare sterile and non-sterile pharmaceutical products.

Required Qualifications:
