Sobeys Inc. is seeking a Pharmacy Student to deliver superior customer service while completing essential training to become a licensed Pharmacist. This role offers a progressive learning experience across pharmacy operations, administration, and customer care.

You will gain hands-on experience in prescription assembly, data entry, taking phone calls, and promoting Profile Programs, with guidance to meet deadlines and ensure accuracy in a busy community pharmacy environment.

Qualifications

• Enrollment in Pharmacy program from a recognized institution.
• Previous pharmacy experience.
• Above average communication skills (oral and written).
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to be self-directed and to work independently in meeting strict deadlines will be essential.

Responsibilities

• Professional pharmacy activities appropriate to level of education.
• Prescription Assembly - Data Entry
• Process Customer Transactions, Receive and Release Prescriptions
• Answer Phones
• Promotion of all Profile Programs
• Compounding
• Pill Pack Assembly
• Filing Prescriptions, Ordering and replenishing supplies, cleaning
• Drug order creation and receiving
• Adhere to and implement all applicable company standards
• Other duties as assigned
