Job summary

Sobeys is seeking a Pharmacy Intern to join our nationwide Canadian pharmacy team. You will deliver superior customer service while gaining training to become a licensed Pharmacist and contribute to community health outcomes.

You’ll participate in prescription data entry, patient interactions, compounding, and daily pharmacy operations under guidance, building skills across Profile programs and professional services in a fast-paced retail setting.

Qualifications

• Enrollment in Pharmacy program from a recognized institution.
• Previous pharmacy experience.
• Strong communication and organizational skills; ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Professional pharmacy activities appropriate to level of education
• Prescription Assembly – Data Entry
• Process Customer Transactions, Receive and Release Prescriptions
• Answer Phones
• Promotion of all Profile Programs
• Compounding
• Pill Pack Assembly
• Filing Prescriptions, Ordering and replenishing supplies, cleaning
• Drug order creation and receiving
• Adhere to and implement all applicable company standards
• Other duties as assigned
