Job summary

Sobeys Inc. is seeking friendly, knowledgeable pharmacy assistants to join our national team across banners including Safeway Canada. We are committed to patient-centered care and community wellbeing, with opportunities for growth in a fast-paced, supportive environment.

You will assist with prescription assembly, data entry, dispensing support, refills, profiling programs, compounding, pill packs, and administrative duties while upholding company standards and delivering exceptional service.

Qualifications

• Pharmacy Assistant Diploma preferred from a recognized post-secondary institute.
• Previous pharmacy experience is an asset.
• Excellent attention to detail, ability to multi-task and work independently.
• Adhere to and implement all applicable company standards.

Responsibilities

• Assemble prescriptions and data entry.
• Process customer transactions for prescriptions.
• Receive in-person and telephone refill requests and record deliveries.
• Promote Profile programs.
• Compounding.
• Pill Pack Assembly.
• File prescriptions, ordering and replenishing supplies, cleaning.
• Drug order creation and receiving.
• Schedule professional clinical services (medication reviews, health risk assessments).
• BTC management.
• Administrative duties: cycle counts, narcotic counts, return to stocks, TMLs, manual third parties.
• Adhere to and implement all applicable company standards; assist with other pharmacy operations.

What You Bring To The Table
