Job summary

Custom Health is seeking a Pharmacy Assistant to join the Central Fill Packaging team in Mississauga. You will prepare medications for packaging under final check by a pharmacist, accurately pick drugs, and file them appropriately.

You will also provide excellent customer service to clients and support delivery/logistics to ensure timely prescription preparation and coordination of multiple items per patient. Attention to detail and the ability to multi-task are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience preparing medications with PacMED is required.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task.
• Independent thinking and problem-solving skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Be a key member of the Central Fill Packaging team, preparing medications for packaging for final check by a licensed pharmacist.
• Accurately pick drugs for packaging and file them accordingly.
• Provide excellent customer service to clients.
• Assist delivery/logistics teams to ensure prescriptions are prepared on time and coordinate multiple items.
• Receive and file inventory efficiently and accurately.
• Other duties as assigned.

Key Responsibilities

• Be a key member of the Central Fill Packaging team, working within the scope of a Pharmacy Assistant to prepare medications for packaging for a final check by a registered pharmacy technician or pharmacist.
• Accurately pick drugs for packaging and file them accordingly
• Provide an excellent level of customer service to all clients
• Assist the delivery/logistics teams to ensure prescriptions are prepared on time and multiple items per patient are coordinated
• Receive and file inventory efficiently and accurately
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Experience prepare medications via PACMED is required.
• Knowledge of PacVision.
• Strong, self‑directed work ethic and ability to multi‑task is a must.
• Independent thinking and ability to solve problems.
• High attention to detail while being efficient and able to manage time.
• Quick learner and ability to adapt to new information and routines.
