Schedule: ON-SITE

Monday-Friday 9:00 am - 7:30 pm with rotating weekends

Pay Rate:

$24-28 per hour

Responsibilities

• Triage, interpret, and input orders into the medication order system with accuracy and efficiency, auditing and correcting as needed.
• Perform drug calculations, including conversions (e.g., milligrams).
• Resolve issues of claim denials and follow-up in Point of Sale (POS).
• Maintain knowledge of Medicaid claim regulations and processes.
• Produce reports on unpaid or pending claims for management.
• Provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers.
• Assist with drug preparation and dispensing under supervision of a Pharmacist.
• Perform other tasks as assigned, including assisting in various pharmacy areas as directed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Pharmacy-related experience.
• Understanding of drugs, medication terminology, and metric system; computer proficiency.
• Licenses/Certifications as required by state regulations.
• Detail-oriented, goal-oriented, team player, customer service skills, good communication.
