Job summary

Walmart Canada is seeking a Pharmacy Assistant to support pharmacists in prescription filling and daily pharmacy operations at our Mission, BC location. The role focuses on accurate data entry, inventory management, and providing excellent customer service in a team-based environment.

Qualifications

• Receives prescriptions from patients and checks for completeness per regulations.
• Performs data entry, price checks and patient information updates under pharmacist supervision.
• Fills prescriptions under supervision with correct products, labeling and verifications.
• Maintains inventory levels and handles stock, returns, and supplier orders.
• Performs clerical tasks like filing, invoicing, reports and general support.
• Supports OTC operations and cashier duties as directed.

Responsibilities

• Receive prescriptions from patients and verify required information.
• Enter data and support pharmacist with price checks and patient profiles.
• Fill and label prescriptions under pharmacist supervision, ensuring accuracy checks.
• Maintain stock levels, check for expirations, order drugs and manage shelves.
• Handle clerical duties and support OTC operations and cashiering.
