Qualifications

  • 3 years of health-system pharmacy leadership experience preferred.
  • Licensed as a pharmacist in Wisconsin or must obtain within 90 days.

Work Schedule:


This is a full-time, 1.0 FTE position. This is a hybrid position. When in the office, you will work at 7974 UW Health Ct. in Middleton, WI. Shifts will be scheduled weekdays with occasional on-call rotation. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department.

We are seeking a Pharmacy Manager - Community Retail Pharmacies to:



  • Manage and lead the provision of safe, timely, efficient, equitable, effective, and patient-centered community pharmacy patient care services and operations.

  • Lead teams at multiple pharmacy retail sites in Madison and Middleton locations.

  • Manage and lead pharmacists, pharmacy residents, pharmacy technicians, pharmacy students, pharmacy interns, and other support staff.

  • Coordinate the community pharmacy immunization program.

Qualifications




  • Bachelor's degree in pharmacy.

  • Pharm D degree.

  • Master's degree in pharmacy administration, healthcare administration, business or other relevant subject area.




Work Experience



  • Completion of an ASHP PGY2 pharmacy residency in health-system pharmacy administration or five (5) years of relevant work experience. Required

  • Three years of health-system pharmacy leadership or management experience. Preferred




Licenses & Certifications



  • Licensed as a pharmacist in Wisconsin or must obtain within 90 days of hire date. Required

  • Must have valid driver's license and must have a driving record that allows for the Health System insurance carrier to cover the incumbent. Upon Hire Required Upon Hire Required

  • Certification through the appropriate certifying program (Board of Pharmacy Specialties, National Board of Nutrition Support Certification, National Certification Board for Anticoagulation Providers, Specialty Pharmacy Certification Board, etc.). Preferred
