Join to apply for the Pharmacy Manager role at Loblaw Companies Limited

This position reports to the Director of Pharmacy Operations and is responsible for receiving, preparing, and delivering prescriptions accurately and timely. The role involves managing inventory levels, counseling patients, supervising staff, and ensuring the operational and financial success of the department.

What You'll Do:

  1. Supervise and guide staff
  2. Manage hiring and performance evaluations
  3. Ensure accurate and timely medication dispensing
  4. Maintain adequate inventory levels
  5. Counsel patients on medications
  6. Educate customers through public relations activities
  7. Resolve patient and doctor issues promptly
  8. Review sales and contribution targets
  9. Identify sales opportunities and control costs

What you’ll need:

  • Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy and a Class A Pharmacist license
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in retail pharmacy
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Leadership and motivational skills
  • Excellent customer service and professionalism
  • Community marketing experience
  • Problem-solving skills with action plan execution
  • Proficiency in Healthwatch/KROLL systems is an asset
