MEDOCare Inc. seeks a full-time Pharmacy Manager for MEDOCare Pharmacy Dauphin in Dauphin, MB. The role oversees daily operations, balancing patient care with business needs and reports weekly on finances.

The ideal candidate will hold a current Pharmacist license in Manitoba, lead a team, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards while delivering high-quality service to clients and families.

Qualifications

• Current practicing license and in good standing with the College of Pharmacists of Manitoba.
• Understanding of current and emerging best practices in health care.
• Experience using Kroll software system.
• Proven ability to mentor staff and achieve performance outcomes.
• Team-based work experience and collaboration skills.
• Customer focus with tact and diplomacy.
• Criminal record check with vulnerable sector search and child/adult registry checks required.
• Knowledge of Red River Métis culture is an asset.
• Willingness to travel with a valid Manitoba driver’s license.

MEDOCare seeks to fill one full-time Pharmacy Manager position located at MEDOCare Pharmacy Dauphin in Dauphin, MB. The Pharmacy Manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily pharmacy operations at this location. A balance is expected between appropriate health care provision and appropriate business principles. Remuneration will be dependent on experience and qualifications.

• Provide strong, effective leadership for the pharmacy team;
• Proactively plan, administer, organize, and successfully implement all activities in relation to day-to-day pharmacy operations;
• Ensure operational excellence and quality patient care;
• Oversee the organization of inventories;
• Inspect inventory for recall and expiry dates and return according to wholesaler specifications;
• Program, direct, review, and rectify pharmacy procedures;
• Ensure the prescription processes and procedures used by the pharmacy are designed to minimize errors, protect the public and adhere to the Standards of Practice;
• Ensure printing of daily sales reports, adjudication reports, and prescription statistics;
• Produce financial reports on a weekly basis.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Current practicing license and in good standing with the College of Pharmacists of Manitoba;
• Demonstrated understanding of current and emerging best practices in use in the health care sector;
• Working knowledge of Kroll software system;
• Demonstrated effectiveness in managing and mentoring staff members to achieve performance outcomes;
• Demonstrated success working in a team-based environment;
• Customer focused and high degree of tact and diplomacy;
• Acceptable Criminal Record Check with a Vulnerable Sector Search, Child Abuse Registry and Adult Abuse Registry Check is required;
• Knowledge and/or understanding of Red River Métis culture is a definite asset; and,
• Ability to travel, with a valid Manitoba Driver’s license with access to a reliable vehicle.
