Job summary

The Jean Coutu Group in Beresford, New Brunswick is seeking a friendly Pharmacy Assistant to greet customers, collect prescription data, and help ensure accurate medication preparation. You will play a key role in a welcoming team environment, providing empathetic service and professional support.

Full-time hours (35+ per week) with flexible scheduling, and a complete paid training program if you do not hold the Diploma of Professional Studies of Technical Assistant in Pharmacy.

Qualifications

• Be the first contact with customers and ensure they feel at ease.
• Collect data for prescription preparation to identify client needs.
• Prepare prescriptions and detect potential issues for clients.
• For some PJC, prepare pillboxes.
• Maintain hygiene and tidiness in the pharmacy laboratory.

Responsibilities

• Be the first point of contact with clientele with empathy and professionalism.
• Identify prescription needs by collecting required data.
• Prepare prescriptions and flag potential issues for customers.
