The Opportunity :

The Pharmacy Clerk is responsible for accurately picking and packing prescriptions, preparing delivery orders, managing inventory, and performing administrative duties including processing statements and payments, triaging calls, and assisting with prescription processing. The role may involve cross-training and supporting other pharmacy areas as needed.

A Day in the Life :

  • Pick, label, and package medication orders
  • Prepare orders for delivery and arrange courier shipments
  • Maintain inventory, including purchasing, receiving, and checking expiration dates
  • Scan and file pharmacy paperwork
  • Assist with prescription processing and reporting
  • Manage incoming calls and general pharmacy maintenance
  • Deliver/pick up orders occasionally
  • Process payments and manage accounts receivable
  • Follow all guidelines and regulatory requirements
  • Participate in policy reviews and staff meetings
  • Monitor fridge temperatures and report variances
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements :

  • High school diploma
  • Experience in pharmacy setting preferred
  • Proficiency with Kroll and MS Office is an asset
  • Strong communication skills in English; additional languages are a plus
  • Highly organized with attention to detail
  • Ability to manage time and multitask effectively
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work independently or in a team
