Pharmacy Assistant - Regular Part Time

Responsibilities
  • Assist the Pharmacists and Pharmacy Manager with daily operations of the Pharmacy Department.
  • Provide customer service, service the front counter, perform cashier duties, handle telephone inquiries and general housekeeping duties.
  • Operate the pharmacy computer and assist in processing prescriptions and preparation of prescriptions.
  • Participate in ordering and receiving drug orders and management of the pharmacy inventory.
Qualifications
  • Good interpersonal skills when dealing with customers, staff, & management.
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Self-starter with a high level of enthusiasm.
  • Ability to relate to all levels of customers and their needs.

Position Details

This is an RPT (Regular Part Time) position, with a minimum of 1456 hours per year. Availability for a flexible schedule, Monday through Sunday, up to 40 hours per week, day and evening shifts is required.
