Role Overview:

You’ll be part of our pharmacy team committed to providing exceptional patient-centered care and exceeding patients' expectations. We seek friendly, knowledgeable, and professional individuals dedicated to prioritizing patients' health needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Processing customer transactions, including receiving and releasing prescriptions
• Handling in-person and telephone refill requests and recording deliveries
• Understanding and promoting pharmacy programs
• Filing prescriptions, managing supplies, and cleaning
• Creating drug orders, receiving, compounding, and pill pack assembly
• Scheduling clinical services
• Managing the dispensary, cycle counts, narcotic counts, stock returns, and manual third-party processing
• Assisting the pharmacist with dispensary tasks within scope

Qualifications:

• Pharmacy Assistant Diploma from a recognized post-secondary institution preferred
• Or, 2 years of retail Canadian pharmacy experience in some provinces
• Previous pharmacy experience is an asset
• Strong attention to detail, ability to multitask, and work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Adherence to company standards
