Responsibilities include:

• Processing customer transactions (receiving and releasing prescriptions)
• Handling refill requests via in-person and phone
• Promoting pharmacy programs
• Filing prescriptions, managing supplies, cleaning
• Creating drug orders, compounding, pill pack assembly
• Scheduling clinical services
• Managing inventory, cycle counts, narcotic counts, stock returns, manual third-party processing
• Assisting pharmacists with dispensary tasks within scope

Qualifications:

• Preferred: Pharmacy Assistant Diploma from a recognized post-secondary institution
• Alternatively, 2 years retail pharmacy experience in some provinces
• Previous pharmacy experience is an asset
• Strong attention to detail, ability to multitask, work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Adherence to company standards
