Here’s where you’ll be focusing:

Prescription assembly and data entry:

1. Processing customer transactions (receive and release prescription requests)
2. Receiving in-person and telephone refill requests and record deliveries
3. Understanding and promoting pharmacy programs
4. Filing prescriptions, ordering, and replenishing supplies, and cleaning
5. Drug order creation and receiving, compounding and pill pack assembly
6. Scheduling professional clinical services
7. Behind the counter management, cycle counts, narcotic counts, stock returns, tallman lettering, manual third parties
8. Assisting the pharmacist with dispensary tasks as permitted by scope

What you have to offer:

1. Preferred: Pharmacy Assistant Diploma from a recognized post-secondary Institute
2. Will consider applicants with 2 years retail Canadian Pharmacy Experience in lieu of certificate in some Provinces
3. Previous pharmacy experience is an asset
4. Excellent attention to detail, ability to multi-task and work independently in a fast-paced environment
5. Adhere to and implement all applicable company standards

The salary range for this position in British Columbia is $19.00 - $23.00. We will consider factors such as your working location, work experience and skills as well as internal equity, and market conditions to ensure that you are paid fairly and competitively.
