Job summary

No Frills in Ontario is hiring a Pharmacy Assistant to ensure accurate dispensing of prescription medications and excellent patient service. You will greet patients, enter data, assist with third-party adjudication, and manage inventory. The role requires good organizational and communication skills, with flexibility for various shifts.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Pharmacy Assistant is an asset.
• Excellent organizational skills and detail orientation.
• Strong communication skills.
• Demonstrated customer service experience.
• Proficient computer/data entry skills.
• Flexibility to work a variety of hours including days, evenings, nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and verify accuracy of prescription information prior to filling.
• Data entry of patient care information.
• Third party adjudication (if necessary).
• Accurate dispensing of prescription medications.
• Maintenance of pharmacy stock through inventory control systems.
• General OTC enquiries from patients and referral to Pharmacist when required.
• Handling customer prescription pick up.
