Responsibilities

• Receiving prescriptions from patients, following provincial regulations, and assessing completeness (name, address, DOB, allergies, 3rd party info, special requests, prescriber, generic/brand, prioritization).
• Performing computer functions as directed by the Pharmacist (data entry, price check, patient info entry/update, prescription interpretation).
• Filling prescriptions under pharmacist supervision, selecting products, performing accuracy checks, labeling, and arranging for pharmacist verification.
• Maintaining inventory control, stocking drugs and supplies, pulling expired meds, managing returns, ordering supplies, and pricing pharmacy orders.
• General housekeeping and clerical duties, keeping the dispensary clean and organized, and handling administrative support tasks.
• Assisting with OTC operations including ordering, stocking, and cashier duties as assigned by OTC Manager and/or Pharmacist.
