Safeway in Lethbridge, Alberta is seeking a friendly and detail‑oriented Pharmacy Assistant to join our team. You will support prescription processing, patient care, and pharmacy operations in a fast-paced environment, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company standards. Previous pharmacy experience is an asset, and a Pharmacy Assistant Diploma is preferred.

Qualifications

• Preferred: Pharmacy Assistant Diploma from a recognized post-secondary institute.
• Previous pharmacy experience is an asset.
• Excellent attention to detail, ability to multi-task and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Adhere to and implement all applicable company standards.

Responsabilités

• Prescription assembly – data entry.
• Process customer transactions (receive and release prescriptions).
• Receive in-person and telephone refill requests and record deliveries.
• Promote Profile programs.
• Compounding.
• Pill Pack Assembly.
• Filing prescriptions, ordering and replenishing supplies, cleaning.
• Drug order creation and receiving.
• Schedule professional clinical services (i.e. medication reviews, health risk assessments, disease state managements etc.).
• BTC management.
• Administrative Duties: cycle counts, narcotic counts, return to stocks, TML’s, manual third parties.
• Adhere to and implement all applicable company standards.
• Assist with other pharmacy operations as required.
