Job summary

Loblaw Companies Limited, operating No Frills, is seeking a Pharmacy Assistant to support patient care and prescription processing in our community stores across Canada. You will greet patients, verify prescription details, perform data entry, and assist with inventory under pharmacist supervision.

This unionized role offers a competitive hourly wage range of $17.60–$25.90, flexible hours including days/evenings/weekends, comprehensive training, and benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Pharmacy Assistant is an asset.
• Excellent organizational skills and detail orientation.
• Strong communication skills.
• Demonstrated customer service experience.
• Proficient computer/data entry skills.
• Flexibility to work a variety of hours which may include days, evenings, night shifts and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Patient greeting and confirmation of accuracy of all pertinent prescription information prior to filling.
• Data entry of patient care information.
• Third Party adjudication (if necessary).
• Accurate dispensing prescription medications.
• Maintenance of pharmacy stock through inventory control systems.
• Handling customer prescription pickup.
