Job summary

Real Canadian Superstore, part of Loblaw, is seeking a friendly Pharmacy Assistant to support dispensing and patient services in our Ontario locations. You will greet customers, verify prescription details, and assist the pharmacist as needed.

Key responsibilities include data entry, third-party adjudication, stocking medications, handling OTC inquiries, and processing prescription pickups. The role requires strong organization, good communication, and flexibility to work days, evenings, nights

Qualifications

• Experience as a Pharmacy Assistant is an asset.
• Excellent organizational skills and detail orientation.
• Strong communication skills.
• Demonstrated customer service experience.
• Proficient computer/data entry skills.
• Flexibility to work a variety of hours including days, evenings, night shifts and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Greeting patients and confirming accuracy of prescription information before filling.
• Data entry of patient care information.
• Third-party adjudication if necessary.
• Accurate dispensing of prescription medications.
• Maintenance of pharmacy stock through inventory control systems.
• Handling general OTC inquiries and referring to Pharmacist when needed.
• Handling customer prescription pickup.
