Job summary

Zehrs Pharmacy at Loblaw Companies Limited in Canada is seeking a Pharmacy Assistant to support dispensing and customer service in a unionized store environment.

You will handle prescription data, third party adjudication, stock maintenance, OTC inquiries, and prescription pickup, with shifts including days, evenings, nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Pharmacy Assistant is an asset.
• Excellent organizational skills and detail orientation.
• Strong communication skills.
• Demonstrated customer service experience.
• Proficient computer/data entry skills.
• Flexibility to work a variety of hours including days, evenings, night shifts and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Greeting patients and confirming the accuracy of all prescription information prior to filling.
• Data entry of patient care information.
• Third party adjudication (if necessary).
• Accurate dispensing of prescription medications.
• Maintenance of pharmacy stock through inventory control systems.
• Handling general OTC enquiries from patients and referring to a Pharmacist when required.
• Handling customer prescription pickup.

In this exciting role you will be responsible for:

Hiring Range / Échelle salariale à l’embauche :
