Pharmacy Assistant - Part Time

Pharmacy Assistants are provided with a professional environment and the tools to practice your profession in a well-designed pharmacy, which helps optimize patient care.

You will be responsible for assisting the Pharmacists and Pharmacy Manager with daily pharmacy operations. Duties include customer service, front counter servicing, cashier duties, telephone inquiries, and general housekeeping. Additionally, you will operate pharmacy computer systems, process and prepare prescriptions, and manage pharmacy inventory, including ordering and receiving drug supplies. If you are seeking a challenging position in retail pharmacy and possess professionalism, commitment, and drive, London Drugs is the place for you.

The successful candidate will have:

• Good interpersonal skills for dealing with customers, staff, and management.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• A self-starter with enthusiasm.
• The ability to relate to customers and understand their needs.
• The ability to work quickly and accurately under pressure.
• Teamwork skills and a collaborative approach.
• Basic computer skills.
• Previous pharmacy experience is preferable.
