Sobeys in Moncton, NB is seeking a friendly, knowledgeable Pharmacy Assistant to join our pharmacy team and support patient-centered care. You will assist with prescription data entry, processing transactions, refills, compounding, and other pharmacy operations to meet patient health needs.

Ideal candidates have a Pharmacy Assistant Diploma and a knack for detail, multi-tasking, and delivering accurate, efficient service in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Pharmacy Assistant Diploma from a recognized post-secondary institute.
• Previous pharmacy experience is an asset.
• Excellent attention to detail, ability to multi-task and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Adhere to and implement all applicable company standards.

Responsibilities

• Prescription assembly - data entry
• Process customer transactions (receive and release prescriptions)
• Receive in-person and telephone refill requests and record deliveries
• Promote Profile programs
• Compounding
• Pill Pack Assembly
• Filing prescriptions, ordering and replenishing supplies, cleaning
• Drug order creation and receiving
• Schedule professional clinical services (i.e. medication reviews, health risk assessments, disease state managements etc.)
• BTC management
• Administrative Duties: cycle counts, narcotic counts, return to stocks, TML's, manual third parties
• Adhere to and implement all applicable company standards
• Assist with other pharmacy operations as required
