Job summary

Sobeys Inc. is seeking friendly, knowledgeable pharmacy professionals to join our team in Canada. You will contribute to patient-centered care, handle prescriptions, refills, and administrative tasks, and support a wide range of pharmacy operations in a fast-paced environment.

The role emphasizes accuracy, customer service, and collaboration within a national pharmacy team that values community health and accessibility. A pharmacy assistant diploma is preferred.

Qualifications

• Pharmacy Assistant Diploma from a recognized post-secondary institute.
• Previous pharmacy experience is an asset.
• Excellent attention to detail, ability to multi-task and work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Process customer transactions (receive and release prescriptions).
• Receive in-person and telephone refill requests and record deliveries.
• Pill Pack Assembly.
• Filing prescriptions, ordering and replenishing supplies, cleaning.
• Drug order creation and receiving.
• Schedule professional clinical services (e.g. medication reviews, health risk assessments, disease state managements).
• BTC management.
• Administrative Duties: cycle counts, narcotic counts, return to stocks, TML’s, manual third parties.
• Adhere to and implement all applicable company standards.
• Assist with other pharmacy operations as required.
