Job summary

No Frills in Canada is seeking a Pharmacy Assistant to support pharmacists in delivering safe, accurate prescription service to our communities. You will greet patients, enter data, assist with inventory, handle OTC questions, and prepare prescriptions under supervision.

This role requires strong organization, communication and customer service skills, with flexible hours including days, evenings, nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Pharmacy Assistant is an asset.
• Excellent organizational skills and detail orientation.
• Strong communication skills.
• Demonstrated customer service experience.
• Proficient computer/data entry skills.
• Flexibility to work a variety of hours which may include days, evenings, night shifts and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Greeting and confirming accuracy of prescription information prior to filling.
• Data entry of patient care information.
• Third party adjudication (if necessary).
• Accurate dispensing of prescription medications.
• Maintenance of pharmacy stock through inventory control systems.
• General OTC enquiries from patients and referral to Pharmacist as needed.
• Handling customer prescription pickup.
