You will provide courteous service, manage prescription intake, data entry, and help with labeling and packaging per standards. The role involves assisting the pharmacist with patient interactions, handling administrative tasks, and ensuring accuracy and privacy in a fast-paced community pharmacy setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma is required.
• Pharmacy Assistant diploma is preferred.
• Previous Pharmacy experience is preferred.
• Demonstrated effective organizational skills and multi-tasking ability.
• Strong problem solving and attention to detail are essential.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and collect prescription information per standards.
• Assist with processing prescriptions and refer clinical inquiries to the pharmacist.
• Maintain confidentiality and handle cash register in the dispensary.
• Receive and file prescription orders, process third‑party billing, and manage faxes.
• Assist pharmacist with call backs and data entry into pharmacy systems.
• Prepare and label prescriptions according to standards and assist with dispensing workflow.
