SUMMARY: To assist with the technical functions of dispensing prescriptions, assist in the delivery of pharmacy services, and participate in the maintenance and operations of the Pharmacy as described by the Pharmacy Standards of Practice. Provide superior, timely, and pleasant service to customers.

Previous SDM Experience Highly Preferred

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Customer Service: Greet customers promptly, gather prescription information according to Standards, and refer clinical inquiries to the pharmacist.
• Perform duties based on assigned roles, locate and cash out prescriptions and ancillary items, and ensure confidentiality and privacy.

Administration:

• Handle prescription orders, manage third-party billing, answer calls, manage faxes, and assist with documentation.

Prescription Workflow:

• Assist in prescription preparation, data entry, medication selection, and packaging.

Skills & Qualifications:

• High School Diploma; Pharmacy Assistant credited course preferred.
• Previous pharmacy experience preferred.
• Organizational skills, multitasking ability, problem-solving, and attention to detail.
