Job summary

Loblaw Companies Limited in Ontario, Fort Erie, is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to fill prescriptions, prepare compounds and manage packaging in a fast-paced retail pharmacy environment.

You will maintain accuracy, provide excellent customer service, and collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure safe and timely medication delivery for our customers.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Pharmacy technician diploma preferred but not required.
• Experience in retail pharmacy is beneficial.
• Exposure to hospital or long-term care pharmacy mentioned.

Responsibilities

• Fill a variety of prescriptions efficiently to maintain workflow
• Prepare compounds, mixtures and temperature control items
• Package blister pack medications
• Deliver completed product based on schedules
• Ensure appropriate follow up on minor issues
• Synchronization and collaboration with other departments
• Maintain organization of work station and inventory shelves
• Ensure appropriate supplies and materials
• Some involvement in prescription information management
• Recognize liability on the outcomes of service provided
• Commitment to promoting a workplace of inclusiveness and belonging
