We are seeking a licensed and experienced Virtual Pharmacist to join our dynamic healthcare team in a remote capacity. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented, tech-savvy professional committed to delivering high-quality pharmaceutical care through virtual platforms. You’ll support patients and healthcare providers across the country by offering medication consultations, prescription verifications, and drug therapy guidance—all from the comfort of your home.

Key Responsibilities:

Review and verify prescriptions for accuracy and appropriateness.

Provide remote medication counseling and education to patients.

Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and care coordinators regarding medication management.

Ensure compliance with provincial/state and federal pharmacy regulations.

Monitor for potential drug interactions, allergies, and contraindications.

Document patient interactions and maintain accurate electronic records.

Participate in virtual team meetings and training sessions.

Support medication adherence programs and chronic disease management.

Qualifications:

Registered Pharmacist with a valid license in Newfoundland.

Minimum of 2 years of experience in community, hospital, or clinical pharmacy.

Experience with virtual care platforms or telehealth systems is preferred.

Strong knowledge of drug therapy and pharmacological principles.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
