Pharmasave Tisdale is recruiting a full-time Pharmacist to join our team. We offer locally owned, community-focused service with supportive collaboration among healthcare providers. New graduates welcome to apply, with a strong emphasis on patient-centered care.

Hours are 9am-6pm, Monday through Saturday; Sundays closed. Responsibilities include dispensing, patient counselling, injections, OAT services, minor ailment prescribing, and comprehensive medication reviews in a busy community setting.

Qualifications

• Licensed pharmacist in Saskatchewan in good standing.
• Community pharmacy experience preferred.
• Excellent communication with patients and staff.
• Proficient with computer systems and Kroll.
• Able to multitask and work in a collaborative team.

Responsibilities

• Dispense and check medications accurately per regulations.
• Counsel patients on prescriptions and OTC products.
• Provide injection services, OAT services, minor ailment prescribing, and complete medication reviews.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize therapies.
• Adhere to provincial and federal guidelines and maintain documentation.
• Maintain pharmacy technology proficiency and patient relations.

• Medication dispensing and checking for accuracy: accurately and efficiently dispense medications, ensuring adherence to all regulations
• Patient counselling and education: provide counselling to patients regarding their prescription and OTC medications
• Professional services: provide injection services, OAT services, minor ailment prescribing, and comprehensive medication reviews to enhance accessibility and positive patient outcomes
• Professional collaboration: foster a collaborative and supportive work environment within the pharmacy team, as well as work closely with other healthcare providers to optimize medication therapies
• Licensed and in good standing with the Saskatchewan College of Pharmacy Professionals
• Adhere to all provincial and federal regulations and guidelines
• Proficient on computer and comfortable working with Kroll
• Good communication skills with excellent patient and staff relations
• Ability to work efficiently and multi-task
