Job summary

The Jean Coutu Group in Canada is seeking a Pharmacy Department leader to coordinate policies, drive department objectives, and oversee day-to-day management including finances and staffing.

You will verify prescriptions, analyze pharmacological files, respond to customer needs, monitor drug therapy, and follow up with clients while ensuring high standards of service. Fluency in French is required and a strong team spirit is essential.

Qualifications

• Pharmacist with Doctorate in Pharmacy and active license to practice.
• Management experience is required.
• French language proficiency: very good knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate policies, orientations and objectives of the department.
• Plan, direct and administer all aspects of laboratory/pharmacy management including financial, material, human and operational aspects.
• Ensure prescription verification and pharmacological file analysis.
